Barrichello sets pole as Trulli finishes 2nd!

Jarno Trulli had a great qualifying session today as he set the 2nd fastest time to complete the front row. His teammate, Fernando Alonso, set the 8th best time and will start from the 4th row next to Juan Pablo Montoya. Alonso was slower than Trulli in all three sectors what may indicate that the Italian driver is running with fuel to do a three-stopper tomorrow.

Third was Kimi Raikkonen who was less than half a second slower than Rubens.

The Schumacher brothers took 4th and 5th position with Ralf going faster after the German made a mistake on the second sector.

A surprising Cristiano Da Matta put bis Toyota on 6th position after lapping less than 1 second slower than the pole setter.

A dissapointing session from Coulthard that will start tomorrow from 12th behind the Jaguar of Mark Webber.

It was a perfect lap from the Italian driver of Renault that set the faster second sector and that finished just 0.172 seconds from Barrichello. Trulli showed his potential and has the opportunity tomorrow to aim for the podium.
