Fans vote Alonso Driver of the Year

Spanish Renault F1 Driver, Fernando Alonso, has won in three categories on the poll conducted by the F1 Racing Magazine. The Spaniard that has recently been presented with the prestigious Gregor Grant Award from Autosport had a fantastic week full of prizes. Readers of F1 Racing Magazine voted Alonso as Best Qualifyier, Driver of the Year and Drive of the Year (his second place at Barcelona).

The Renault F1 Team also won the Most Improved Team of the Year Award for a sensational season that took them to 5 podiums, including one win, two poles and fastest lap.
