The second row of the Grid is an all red one with both of the Ferrari's taking up 3rd and 4th. Michael Schumacher will start 3rd and Flippe Massa 4th. The Honda of Rubens Barichello will start from 5th position on the Grid which is his best qualifying position this season while the next 2 positions are taken up by the Toyota's of Ralph Schmacher and Jarno Trulli. The last 3 cars in the top ten are Jenson Button, Kimi Raikkonen and Nick Heidfeld.

The shock of the session was when Mclaren Driver Juan Pablo Montoya Failed to get his Mclaren into the top 10 shoot out.

Renault will be delighted to have taken 1st and 2nd on the grid after quite alot of pressure has been placed ont he team by a resurgent Ferrari team in recent races. Fisichella in particular will be very "Appy" after failing to achieve a respectable grid slot in recent races after missing out on the top ten shoot out, 2nd will mean a little less weight on the Itallians shhoulders.
