Jarno Trulli is still annoyed by the fact that he finished behind his teammate on the last Monaco GP.
In an interview on Autosport Online Jarno thinks that if he would have been called into pits a couple of laps earlier on his second stint he could have finished in front of his teammate.
The Italian was annoyed by the fact that he finished behind his teammate due to traffic:
"Fernando stopped three laps later, and when he was on the track he was maybe a couple of tenths ahead of me, and that was enough." He said. "What I would have done is stopped one or two laps earlier than what I did for the last stop. I was leading the group, and basically when you're leading the group in Monaco and you find some traffic, you're the one who is going to lose more. What happened is that just before stopping I hit a group of four or five cars. It would have been enough to stop one or two laps earlier, because I had 1.5s of gap on David and 4s or more on Fernando, and I lost all this gain. Then anything can happen."
The gap of Trulli over Alonso never reached four seconds as a matter of fact between laps 47 to 56 that is when Trulli went into pits.
