Alonso continues to dominate!

Spanish F1 driver Fernando Alonso finished yesterday Renault's two days test at Jerez setting the fastest time for two days in a row. Alonso completed 104 laps to the circuit of Jerez doing 460 kms of tests. The test had the main purpose of tyre evaluation for Michelin in terms of new compounds as well as evaluation for the French Grand Prix that will take place in two weeks time.

“In general, this was a very successful test in which we covered a high mileage,” commented Pat Symonds. “This session complements our Heathrow testing extremely well.”

In total the team has covered 207 laps in 2 days of tests with almost 920 kilometers completed.
