Renault shows speed at Germany!

The Renault F1 team has reasons to smile after finishing 2nd and 3rd at today’s Free Practice session. David Coulthard topped the sheets with a time of 1.15.523 after 22 laps just marginally faster than Jarno Trulli. The Italian had a best time of 1.15.617 after only 11 laps. he was followed closely by his teammate, Fernando Alonso, that only used the last 20 minutes of the session to make a best time of less than 03 seconds shy the one from Coulthard.

Mark Webber set the fourth best time just ahead of Montoya and Da Matta.

It was a tough session for Ferrari with Michael Schumacher finishing 11th and Rubens Barrichello setting the 16th time.

Raikkonen also struggled and finished 15th just ahead of Barrichello.
