The Renault F1 team will soon announce the official line-up for the 2004 season.
The official communication will be made during the Hungarian GP.
However, Patrick Faure, in a lunch with Spanish reporters during the German GP said that the team will keep the same line-up of racing drivers of next season.
Therefore, both Jarno Trulli and Fernando Alonso will continue to drive for the Anglo-French squad for 2004. This also ends speculations to the possible arrivel of Canadian Jacques Villeneuve or the return to the team of Italian Giancarlo Fisichella.
Faure also announced that Renault had decided to review and extend the contract of Fernando Alonso to 2005, however, the new contract includes now a clause by which Renault F1 can extend the relationship with the Spaniard for the 2006 season as well.
Trulli has been giving a contract extension to the 2004 season.
