Watch out for Trulli

Jarno Trulli had led each one of the sessions today after setting the fastest lap in Friday's qualifying. The Italian was more than 0.2 seconds faster than second placed Barrichello and more than half a second faster than the Jaguar of mark Webber. Trulli finished off a great day that saw him set the fastest time in each one of the sessions today.

His teammate, Fernando Alonso, could not find such a pace and finished 7th ahead of Michael Schumacher and Kimi Raikkonen, both drivers aiming for the World Championship.

Juan Pablo Montoya, the other driver with high chances for the Championship was able to set the 5th best time edged marginally by his teammate Ralf Schumacher.

The session was hit by rain later on and therefore it was hard to see if the Toyatas, that had shown very good pace earlier on.

It will be an interesting US Grand Prix, specially if rain continues to hit tomorrows qualifying and the race.

Also, the lack of running on the dry for some teams could punish thgem if the race was to be on a dry circuit on Sunday, something that could be benefitial for the teams that signed the Heathrow Agreement like Renault.
