Alonso wins award!

Spanish Driver Fernando Alonso has won the prestigious Gregor Grant award handed by Autosport Magazine. The award was granted for exceptional achievement in all disciplines of motorsport. Alonso was present in the ceremony in London in front of 1500 guest from the motorsport world.

"To receive this award in front of so many guests, all of whom are involved in our sport at some level, is a real honour," commented Fernando. "I have said it a lot this year, but 2003 was a fantastic season for me, and the win in Budapest remains one of the best memories of my lifetime. I am looking forward to driving the new car and want to get out to Australia! I am feeling confident for the championship ahead."
