Renault Backs Fisichella

Mild Seven Renault F1 have stated that they are fully behind their Italian star Giancarlo Fisichella after many people this season have been critical of his performance in 2006 even though statistically Fisico has had his best season yet Renault F1 PR department have stated that they are 100% behind Roman Giancarlo Fisichella after some critics have said that it has far been from his best after finishing 75 points behind his team mate Fernando Alonso who was crowned 2005 world drivers championship.
The PR department have came out and stated that Fisico is 'true team player ready to put the team's priorities ahead of his own' and that 'endured nearly all of the team's mechanical failures'
Fisichella had endured many mechanical problems through out the year which disrupted his season and even retired him when he was winning races like in Canada when he retired from the lead. Even taking this into consideration Fisico had his best season to date with a fantastic victory in Australia and more points in a single championship that he has done before with some fantastic driving mixed in with it.

Giancarlo Fisichella said: "I am in a team that supports one other in difficult moments. I think I am a better driver than a year ago."
