Mild Seven Renault F1 team finish a surprising 4th and 9th in Qualifying. The new qualifying system might have caught the Anglo- French team out as Fernando Alonso manages 4th and giancarlo Fisichella 9th in qualifying The new qualifying system might have caugth Renault F1 team out in the first grand prix of the season as drivers Fernando Alonso and Giancarlo Fisichella only managed a surprising 4th and 9th, when everyone was epexting them to do alot better.

The shock positions maybe due to a large fuel load which Renault is roumoured to be carrying aswell as an engine problem that Italian Giancarlo Fisichella is roumoured to have. When the revs where incresed on fisis car a problem seemed to occur and he did not have the power he was supposed to.

Michael Schumacher topped the time sheets with Brazilian Fillipe Massa coming second making it an all Ferrari front row. Jenson Button Managed to get his Honda onto the second row of the grid along side Alonso.

The new qualifying system seemed to have worked with each of knock out sesions creating excitment and the cars constantly being out on the track.

Reaction from the technical team and driverws will follow
