A Frustrated Fisichella

Fisichella was again left frustrated by the Reliability of his Renault. This comes after the Italian yet again had problems with his Renault during a F1 weekend. Fisichella was very disapointed and could even be herd cursing down the radio on the TV coverage Giancarlo Fisichellas 2005 bad luck followed him today from the 2005 season as an engine problems forced Fisico to retire from todays Bahrain grand prix.

Fisichella had the engine problem in yesterdays qualifying session and that then forced him to take a low position of 9th on the grid for todays race. Over night the team changed everythign on the engine apart from the engine itself in hope that the problem from yesterdays session would disapear.

The team thought the problem had been fixed when they were monitoring the car on the way to the grid for the formation lap, but as soon at the race got underway the problem started again, fisi was underpowered and there was nothing he could do to stop cars pasing him on the straight.

The problem eventually forced the Roman to retire from the race with a hydrolic problem.

"I'm disappointed because obviously yesterday we had a problem already in the qualifying session and we had all night and the morning to fix it," he fumed to ITV.

"But we didn't unfortunately.

"When I went out on the formation lap the engine was okay. And then just after the start I lost again the power like yesterday.

"Then I retired myself because there was a problem with the hydraulics, maybe because of the engine problem."

If Renault had changed the engine fisi would have started from the pit lane but this would have enabled him to move up through the field and score points. Just like Kimi Raikkonen had done in todays race.

Giancarlo went on to say how frustrated he was with the situation,
"Last year I had a lot of back luck, but starting this year like this is not great,"
