Chris Vermeulen was to have tested the RCV Honda at the Valencia Circuit last week, thereby making his MotoGP début. Ten Kate star Chris was forced to miss the test date due to his wrist being in a cast but, thankfully, HRC have gone out of their way to reschedule his test date to 22nd November.

Having won four races and some great battles with top riders - such as ‘Nitro’ Nori Haga at Silverstone, which the British fans thoroughly enjoyed - gaining him an even bigger fan base here in the UK.

Undoubtedly the star of the World Superbike series this year, Chris being a rookie in WSBK showed he was more than competitive amongst some of the world class and more experienced riders.

Chris said he would love to make the move to MotoGP, and is joined by Karl Muggeridge, another compatriot, in a two man team assault on the WSBK series next year, again with the Ten Kate Honda team.
