As the motorcycle season is now in full swing, retail showroom AdrenalinX, based at Brands Hatch Circuit, Kent, are pleased to update you on the progress of their supported riders. All riders are provided with technical safety equipment, which can be purchased from the store throughout the year.

James Ellison in the MotoGP series, riding for WCM, has showed pure grit and determination so far in the 2005 season, has gained some valuable World Championship points, and is currently the highest scoring British rider in the élite MotoGP class.

Chris Vermeulen, riding on the Winston Ten Kate Honda in the World Superbike series, is currently lying third in the overall series, and took his first win of the season at Monza circuit at the beginning of May. There are still seven rounds remaining of the World Superbike series, including the British round at Brands Hatch on the 7th August, where you can pay a visit to the AdrenalinX showroom situated adjacent to the Kentagon Bar.

AdrenalinX is also a personal sponsor of British Superbike star Leon Haslam, who is riding for Airwaves Ducati in one of the toughest national championships in the world. He is currently lying in fifth place in the series. A win at Oulton Park, plus a number of consistent results, is proving that the 22-year-old is an inspirational rider amongst a number of proven world-class riders.

As sponsors of the Vitrans Honda team, rider Martin Finnegan has just scored a fantastic set of results at his third ever Isle of Man TT. With a third in the Superbike, fifth in the 600cc, seventh in the Superstock and fourth in the Senior TT, the 24-year-old Southern Irishman is proving to be a force to be reckoned with on the fierce road circuits. His team-mate John Laverty has been competing for the first time in the British Superbike championships. It has been a tough year so far for the youngster in this super competitive class. He has still managed to score some healthy results, his best coming at the last round at Croft, with an encouraging tenth place.

British Supersport star Leon Camier has also secured backing from AdrenalinX for the 2005 season. The 18-year-old from Ashford in Kent has had a fantastic season so far, with two wins and a second to his name. Camier is sitting in fourth place in the overall standings, in what is proving to be one of the closest fought out series for years. With only eleven points separating the top four in the overall championship standings it is still all to play for.

Young Irish star Mark Pollock is enjoying a productive season in the Virgin Mobile Cup, and is third in the championship standings. The riders drop their two worst scoring rounds at the end of the season, and the overall winner secures a ride in the British Superbike championship in 2006, with the Virgin Mobile Yamaha team.

Lisa Thorne is the only female representative of AdrenalinX on the motorcycle racing scene, and is competing with Team nVidia in the British 125cc championship. This friendly and likeable lady is riding in an extremely competitive field, and is enjoying the season so far.

On the off-road side, former British Supermoto Champion, Ady Smith, is in sixth place after two rounds of the British Supermoto Championships. The current Winter Supermoto Champion has been flat out with training schools for Enduro and Supermoto, plus fitting in his busy race schedule.

AdrenalinX is also the official technical and safety partner to Brands Hatch and, following the hugely successful AdrenalinX Minimoto & Pocketbike Hire Event at Brands Hatch over the BSB Easter Weekend, AdrenalinX is launching its exclusive ACU approved Minimoto & Pocketbike Club in April 2005 - for more details see www.adrenalinx.com

It is certainly a busy year on the racing calendar, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most competitive in years. We are now heading into the second half of the season ,which should provide us with a host of exciting and thrilling races.
