Selespeed meets Marco Melandri in Amsterdam

Today (21st June) I had the opportunity to take some pictures of Marco Melandri, Alex Hofmann, Nicky Hayden and Dutch racer Raymond Schouten, as the four of them got on a canal boat in Amsterdam for some sightseeing and public relations activities.

Of course, they all got some real Dutch wooden shoes - a bit disappointing to me but, then again, it makes it obvious that they are in Holland. Although it was very hot today - the riders spent most of the time drinking water, and taking some pictures of the city - they discussed the revised north corners at the Assen circuit - venue for the forthcoming TT - due to the realisation of a new ‘floating’ stand for the crowds. In addition, the circuit is now thirty metres shorter.
