Warren Steele is heading for the Autodrom Sosnova in the Czech Republic this weekend. This will be Warren’s first European Championship event, with him having ridden in Mettet, Belgium, and a handful of races abroad, he knows that he has got his work cut out. Carrying an injury which he sustained a couple of weeks ago whilst out practising, he is not 100% fit but will be keeping his fingers crossed that the pain won’t be so obvious to him come race day.

The competition he faces is tough and the European boys are extremely fast, extremely committed and extremely dedicated to winning. This is the opening race of six in the series in which Warren has been automatically seeded into the 650 class due to his number one ranking in the UK. He will be hoping for a strong result to kick start his European season.

Reigning strong at the moment Warren will be aiming for a top ten finish. All British eyes will be on him to see how he fares against Europe’s best. Fellow Brits Christian Iddon and Leighton Haigh will also be flying the British flag and hoping to bag a handful of Championship points.

Commenting Warren said “I can’t wait to get over there. The Europeans have really adapted to Supermoto and are keen to really get behind it and push it forward; the tracks and the competition are second to none. I’ll be hoping for a good result and just keeping focused on the job in hand. It’ll be really good just to get the experience but if I can pull out a handful of decent results then that’s a bonus. My season is packed full with the Nora series plus the ACU series and the Europeans; it’s pretty much non-stop. I’m thoroughly enjoying my riding at the moment and hoping to gain some positive results throughout the season.”
