Christian Iddon, Dave McKee and Mike Wright will be representing the Husky Sport Supermoto team this weekend, at the second and third rounds of the Maxxis UK Supermoto Championship (formerly the MRO Super7 - www.supa7.com). Londoner Jay Smith will be sitting this one out after he broke his wrist at the last round of the ACU Championships.

After an extremely successful first round at Snetterton a month ago, series organiser Dave Stewart and his team are eager to head South to Lydden Hill, Kent, to put on another fantastic display. Hosting riders from all over the country, plus a large number of European Supermoto stars, all raring to get out on track on display their impressive talents to the crowd in hope to take the prestigious win.

Reigning British Supermoto Champion Christian Iddon will be contending in the fiercely fought 650 Class and will be aiming for the top step of the podium on both the days. Iddon, who is in preparation for his first World Championship round next weekend in Spa, Belgium, will be pushing his rivals hard in order to gain good results and a confidence boost as he heads overseas.

Mike Wright will be fighting it out in the 450 class alongside Irish Supermoto star Dave McKee, who will also be running alongside Iddon in the 650 races. The three riders will be pushing hard throughout the weekend and are aiming to gain some valuable points in the championship standings.

Both the riders and organisers will be praying for better weather this time round, as torrential rain at the first meeting proved difficult for all those involved. They will be hoping that the sun will shine on them throughout the weekend and the races will be dry and fast. Lydden is a superb little track and is guaranteed to provide some spectacular racing. Lydden Hill Circuit is signposted off the A2, halfway between Dover and Canterbury. Admission is £8.00 for one day or £12.00 for both.
