Unfortunately, Airwaves Ducati’s James Haydon has been ruled out of the line-up for the second round of the British Superbike series, taking place at Thruxton, near Andover, this weekend - April 8th, 9th and 10th.
This is due his pre-season testing crash in Albacete, Spain, which has left him with a commuted fracture of his left hand, and requires more recovery time. This has left James gutted, as he was so looking forward to taking part, and he said, “Hopefully I will be back soon, riding for the team and playing a full part in the rest of the BSB championship.”

Spaniard Gregorio Lavilla will be taking the place of James. After such an impressive ride during the first round at Brands Hatch on Easter weekend, also riding in place of James, it comes as no surprise that he has taken the ride once again.
With his team-mate Leon Haslam, who will certainly be on the boil this time out, after a bad showing in the first race, and will be wanting to put things to rights; and with Gregorio they will make a formidable pairing, as both riders are no strangers to our series.
