Innovate Honda rider Alex Rach is looking to build on the success of his victory at the second round of the British Masters Motocross series at Hawkstone Park. Rach held off a strong challenge from Mark Eastwood to take the Pro Open class win at Hawkstone, and plans to build on that success.

It was the first time Rach had sampled victory at such a high-profile event, and he is eager to repeat the experience.
“It was a great feeling to win. I just tried to stay relaxed,” admitted Rach. “Mark put me under pressure at the end of the race, but I was able to deal with that. Now I’ve won this race I want to win more,” added Rach after the race.

Rach will get the chance to add to his Hawkstone win when round three of the series takes place at the world-famous Foxhill Moto Park at the end of June. A top-class field of riders will take part at the spectacular hillside Wiltshire circuit, including the likes of O’Neal Yamaha’s Glen Phillips.

In the Pro 125cc class, Brad Anderson will be out to repeat his Hawkstone win. Anderson is the dominant force after winning both round one at Culham, and the second event in the series at Hawkstone. He will be out to make it a hat-trick of event wins at Foxhill on 25 and 26 June 25, to keep his O’Neal Yamaha ahead of the pack.

A mechanical problem hit Wayne Smith’s chances at Hawkstone, but he will be out to make up lost ground in the championship on the Innovate Honda at Foxhill. There will be a full programme of pro, amateur and youth racing at round three at Foxhill, with the action getting under way at 9am on 25 and 26 June.
