Should Ferrari support the struggling Sauber?

Ferrrari are supplying engines to the Sauber F1 team, while Sauber is currently struggling to stay in F1 due to financial crisis.

With Nico Hulkenburg openly not denying reports of terminating contract with Sauber, there seems genuine problem with the team.

With the team principal also stating that the funds are stuck up, the team needs urgent needs of funds.

In this scenario, their engine suppliers Ferrari should take this opportunity to help them out of this situation, as like Ferrari, Sauber has been long associated with F1, and it would also help the Italian team in building a sort of B-team in F1.

Even though officially no B-teams are allowed, it is a well known fact that top teams like Ferrari and Redbull would be happy to have a support team in the highly competitive sports of Formula One.

Im not a fan of top teams having influence over smaller teams. It leaves the situation open to abuse and you could get repeats of the Jerez 97 situation where Todt told Sauber to hold up JV and Norbert Fontana did just that costing JV many seconds to schumacher's advantage.
