Lotus signs Ferrari man

With Lotus losing its key personnel and now their ace Driver to Ferrari, they have responded by stealing one from the Italian team.

After their technical boss James Allison moved to Maranello, their star driver Kimi Raikkonen is set to follow him nex season.

However, it didn't stop there as it also emerged that their aerodynamics chief Kirk de Beer is heading to Ferrari too along with Raikkonen's race engineer Mark Slade.

Germany's Auto Motor und Sport reports now that Lotus has signed a well-regarded Ferrari aerodynamicist, Nicolas Hennel.

While Ferrari seem to be on full gear for the new season with engine changes in 2014, Lotus is trying to get its feet back on, as rumours of Felipe Massa too trying to get the vacant seat of Raikkonnen is going on in the F1 paddock

What about naming the team Kimi-Lotus-Ferrari.

Wonder what Kimi fans have to say about this, since they blamed Alo was given number 1 status, and it looks like with Kimi getting all personnel and himself would certainly demand that he be treated as the King. lol.

As a Kimi AND Ferrari fan I`d say that no. 1 will be the man who takes that pos by driving. Simple as that, both guys are pros and know that...

Guys... We signed Pat Fry.... Nothing happened
We sacked Aldo....nothing happened
We signed some other Macca staff...nothing happened
We brought some of the dream team out of retirement...nothing happened
then we signed Lotus staff and Sid we expect to see immediate results....Alonso said our performance is sad

So I do not think signing people changes anything at Ferrari. I hope I am proved wrong
