Team managers of all the formula one teams met yesterday to discuss the possibility of conducting a pre-season testing in Bahrain, prior to start of the season opener.

Since, Pirelli would be entering F1 next year, teams wanted to have good understanding of the performance of it's tyres.

Auto Motor und Sport reports that the teams are planning to organise special group test for Bahrain, which will be conducted immediately prior to the first GP of 2011 in March, rumoured to be at Bahrain.

Hence, a total of 15 days of pre-2011 winter testing is therefore on the cards, with four of them to be held in Bahrain the week before it hosts the first GP.

The top teams of the group is also said to have discussed another important, but contentious issue, on re-allowing in-season testing.
