Felipe Massa is going through a rough patch since the arrival of his teammate world champ Fernando Alonso.Is it reason enough to change him? The media and rumour mongers thinks so.

There are reports in Finnish papers that says Kovalainen is being considered for the place.

The speculation follows Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo ruling out Sergio Perez as Felipe Massa's 2013 successor, due to his lack of experience.

Kovalainen, after his lacklustre first three years at Renault and McLaren is doing good at Caterham.

The Finnish broadcaster MTV3 said representatives of Kovalainen's management team at IMG Worldwide will travel to Maranello next week.

Some other names being tossed by the media are Nico Hulkenburg of Force India and even former Ferrari world champ Kimi Raikkonen, who would certainly be pretty surprised to hear it himself.

With Massa struggling with the Pirellis, and also due to some bad luck in races where he was in good position, however, seems confident that he will drive for the team next year.
