Ferrari's disciplinary hearing on Sep 8

FIA's World Motor Sport Council has kept Ferrari's disciplinary hearing for team orders breach on September 8, 2010.

Ferrari was fined $ 100,000 last month for breaking the 'no team orders' rule, and have been referred to the WMSC by the stewards, who also felt Ferrari broke the general guideline about disrepute.

The disciplinary hearing was speculated to have been held in Como, Italy, on September 10, the day of the scheduled Council meeting. However, the same would have clashed with Friday practice session for the Italian GP.

The governing body has therefore convened a separate meeting two days earlier for the Ferrari matter, in Paris on September 8.

The meeting will be headed by Mr. Graham Stoker, President for Sport, instead of FIA President Mr. Jean Todt, who was implicated in the infamous Austria 2002 team orders controversy involving Ferrari.
