Felipe Massa WILL drive a Sauber Petronas

Since Sauber Speak placed a story saying Felipe Massa may be used as a test driver for Sauber Petronas, despite being contracted to Ferrari, we've struggled to get any official confirmation from Sauber. However things have become clearer. Sauber's press officer Ilka Wendlandt said "Felipe basically has a contract with Ferrari as a test driver. The agreement that we have with Ferrari is that Felipe will be our test driver when - let's say - he has some time available.

"The exact number of times he'll drive for us has not been decided," she adds. "Occasionally he will also act as our reserve driver. But in the main, Felipe is under contract with Ferrari."
