The final upgrade to team SAUBER PETRONAS innovative new cooling system is a new engine cover and rear body work. Sporting a much lower profile and top-mounted grill, the difference in very noticeable.
An altered deck wing increases downforce and rear end stability. The airbox wing mounted behind the camera will also help smooth out airflow over the rear wing.
Felipe Massa's racecar is in the foreground of this photo and provides a great look at the new bodywork. Compare it with the T-car in the background, which has not yet received the upgraded components. This new aerodynamic and cooling package combined with an upgraded Petronas B Spec engine propelled Massa to 7th and 10th place in Friday's free practice session, his best results of the season thus far.
