Frentzen's sister detained for joyriding

It's reported that Heinz-Harald Frentzen's underage sister Nicole-Nadine has been stopped by police for speeding around the streets of Moenchengladbach. It's understood that the 14-year-old was spotted driving her mother's car on Sunday afternoon while the rest of the Frentzen family was watching Heinz-Harald in action at Magny Cours. As she raced around the streets of Moenchengladbach, Frentzen and Sauber team-mate Nick Heidfeld's home town, she was accompanied by her 11-year-old sister and a 12-year-old friend.

According to the German press, her father Heinrich-Harald, picked up his daughter at the police station. "She was born to race and wants to get her licence as fast as she can," the funeral parlour owner told reporters. "On the go-kart track she's too much for the boys her age."

Reports that Peter Sauber is trying to sign the youngster and her 11-year-old sister are unconfirmed.
