Today team SAUBER PETRONAS continued their test programme at the Silverstone Circuit in England with Felipe Massa behind the wheel. He set a fastest time of 1:19.980 in 71 laps around the Grand Prix circuit.
Race engineer, Mike Krack explains the work completed today. "We have done some set-up checks in the morning before we started to work with Bridgestone on the tyre construction for the next races. In addition, we evaluated different brakes."
Massa's work for the week is complete and teammate Giancarlo Fisichella will take over tomorrow for another busy session. "Tomorrow Giancarlo will do a set-up validation and besides this will compare several cooling. Further Bridgestone tyre tests for the Canadian Grand Prix and aerodynamic work are also planned for Thursday," Krack explained.
