Giancarlo Fisichella turned 61 laps today at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza today. He set a fast time of 1:21.169, concluding a productive four-day test for team SAUBER PETRONAS. The team has been busy this week working primarily on aerodynamic upgrades for the Canadian and United States Grand Prix, but have also worked on brakes and tyres. They lost time on the first two days due to mechanical failures and bad weather, but made up lost ground yesterday.

Race Engineer, Giampaolo DallŽAra talks about the week. "In the morning we continued our programme, before we changed the engine that had reached its maximum mileage. We then evaluated a new front tyre construction for Bridgestone and did some aerodynamics work. Overall it was a productive four-day test. We could complete our planned programme although we had lost some time on day two. We were able to decide on the aero and brake configuration for Montreal and Indianapolis and choose the tyres for these two races. In addition we could also do some set-up work in view of the Italian Grand Prix."

Sauber will now head to North America for the second of a series of back-to-back races. They will race in Montreal, Canada on 13 June and Indianapolis in the United States on 20 June. There will be no break for the team after the flyaway races either, as they will be busy testing 23 to 25 June in Barcelona.
