Although SAUBER PETRONAS has canceled the official launch of the C24 in Kuala Lumpur out of respect to the tsunami victims in South East Asia, everyone is still looking forward to the debut of the new car in Valencia, Spain on Friday 14 January. The C24 will be the first car developed fully in SAUBER's new wind tunnel. It is expected to be an aggressive and original design intended to move the team further up the grid in 2005. Felipe Massa will handle the driving duties for the car's rollout on Friday. He will continue work on Saturday before Jacques Villeneuve gets his chance to try it on Sunday. The team is also expected to unveil a major new sponsor at the rollout, who will take the place of Red Bull.

Sauber Speak will be publishing updates and announcements throughout the day Friday as the new car takes to the track. We invite all of you to be here with us and to join in an open chat during the day. The chat room is always available and I plan on being there from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm US Eastern Standard Time. I hope to see many of our regulars from last year's chats return along with a host of new fans who have followed Jacques Villeneuve to the team.

You can log into the Sauber Speak chat room at by clicking here.

In the meantime take a look at the new and revised features of our site. The navigation bar on the left side has been rearranged for easier use. New information has been added on Jacques Villeneuve and many statistic and history pages have been revised to reflect last year's action. If you are new to the site or the SAUBER team now is a good time to see what our site has to offer.

Thank you for visiting Sauber Speak and we look forward to chatting with everyone on Friday.
