So, You Think That YOU Could Design A Race Car?

... Then here's a challenge for you - and maybe a prize as well! HVM Racing has put up a blog on their website where anybody who wants to can submit their proposal for what the next generation of IndyCar chassis should lokk like. All drawings and sketches are welcome, as are all opinions/criticisms of them.

One design will chosen at random as the 'winner', which will earn the designer responsible and the guest of his/her choice VIP passes to join HVM Racing at the 2010 Indianapolis 500.

It is probably best to assume that travel expenses are NOT included!

You can submit your entries to: www.hvmracing.com/hvmblog up until March 15.

I have just checked out the 'activity' on the blog so far and, to this point, nobody has submitted any original ideas (there have been a few people who have submitted pictures of the 2007 CCWS DP01 and the older CART-era Lola, as well has a few 'joke' submissions), so this competiton is still wide open IMO.
